I recently photographed Petersfield Theatre Group as they rehearsed for Guys & Dolls, and it was such a great atmosphere to step into. The cast were fully in it; running lines, working through songs, and throwing themselves into the choreography with real enthusiasm.
What I enjoy most about rehearsal sessions is the mix of focus and fun. There were moments of everyone laughing together, moments of real concentration, and plenty of those small interactions that show how much work goes into a show long before opening night.
I focused on capturing the rehearsal as it happened—natural, unposed, and true to the moment.
